Garden Maintenance in Harrogate, Ripon and Nidderdale

Garden maintenance is the work we do most, across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Nidderdale and the surrounding villages. A Harrogate garden is its own kind of job. Deep shaded borders sitting under mature limes and beeches that were planted with the properties, box and yew edging that only looks right when it is kept crisp, small lawns with a great deal of edge to them, and rear access that is often a ginnel or a shared drive, so every barrow of green waste is walked out to the van rather than driven off the plot. We work right across the town and all its suburbs, and out through the villages round it.

The same round then runs east into Knaresborough, north to Ripon and its villages, and up the Nidd valley into Nidderdale, where the job changes shape entirely: bigger plots, long boundary hedges and paddock edges instead of a ginnel, more wind, and a spring that arrives a fortnight later than it does in town. We carry out all aspects of garden maintenance for domestic and commercial clients, from a single spring tidy-up to a regular round that runs twelve months of the year. Weeding, borders, pruning, hedges, lawns, seasonal planting, and the green waste taken away when we leave.

Most people ring at the point where the garden has got ahead of them. A wet spring, a fortnight away, one summer of not quite keeping up, and the borders have closed over. Maintenance plans are tailored to what you actually need rather than a package you did not ask for.
